If the center is closed, please call 972-883-2747 and follow the prompts to speak with a registered nurse about your symptoms at no additional cost.

After Clinic Hours

Students requiring medical assistance after hours should visit a private physician’s office or urgent care clinic. Go to a hospital emergency room only in the event of a true emergency; an emergency room visit can be very expensive compared to a minor emergency facility or private physician. Students are responsible for all expenses incurred outside of the SHC.

University Emergency Medical Response

University Emergency Medical Response focuses on providing quality, campus-centered emergent or non-emergent medical care to campus. It is a first-responder organization with professionally trained students, faculty and staff volunteers and is available to treat emergent and non-emergent medical cases. All services are at no cost to the patient. To dispatch, call 972-883-2222.
